Part-Time Conservation Technician
The Mountain Soil and Water Conservation is accepting applications for the position of Conservation Technician. This part-time employment position will have the primary role of supporting and assisting senior staff with the implementation of the Virginia Agricultural Cost Share Program. The successful candidate will work closely with other staff members to carryout program deliverables in support of the Commonwealth’s Chesapeake Bay restoration goals.
Experience and/or education in agriculture, natural resources and/or environmental science preferred. Successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, proficient computer use, be well organized and self-motivated. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Salary will commensurate with experience and qualification.
