The Bath County Sheriff’s Department, located at the county seat beside the Bath County Courthouse in Warm Springs, is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide emergency dispatch, 911 service, crime prevention and Class Action programs. The Sheriff’s Department is led by Sheriff Robert Plecker and enforces traffic laws, answers complaint and emergency calls and patrols 24 hours a day, checking businesses and residences. The Sheriff is an elected official serving a four year term. The Department is comprised of fifteen  Deputies, nine Communications Officers, and one K-9 officer, Spidey.
