Building, Planning and Zoning

Building, Planning and Zoning administers building permits and performs inspections according to the Uniform Statewide Building Code(USBC). The department is responsible for the enforcement of Land Use Regulations, the Subdivision Ordinance, Signage and Zoning regulations.

The office works with the Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals and the County Administrator to address land use and zoning issues. Building permits can be obtained Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
